Job Description:
Job Title: Carpenter

Start Date: ASAP
Wage: $ 30.00 per hour
Benefit: 4% of gross salary for vacation remuneration OR 10 days of paid vacations.
Hours of work: 30 – 40 hours per week.

Duties:
– Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
– Make layouts according to building codes, using measuring tools.
– Measure, cut, shape assemble and join wood products.
– Fit and install trim items such as doors, window, moldings, and hardware.
– Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structure.
– Build foundations.

Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school is required.
Experience:
Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in this field
or
a combination of over four years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college, or industry courses.
