Position: Truck Driver Supervisor

Work hours: Minimum 35 to 40 hours per week.

Job responsibilities
• Supervising Drivers, truck drivers, shuttle drivers in the yard by directing them to designated locations and assigning them to offsite moves depending on their purpose of visit.
• Conduct daily coordination with fulfillment center operations departments, transportation peers and carriers to ensure all trailers and shipments arrive and depart on time with zero defects.
• Ensure team members are on time before the job and during the job.
• Resolve work problems with the team members and recommend measures to improve productivity. Show new measures during a move team member.
• Responsible for driver hiring and training, workforce planning, discipline, and recognition as well as retention activities.
• Forecast driver and routing needs to assist for holidays and special events to avoid any disruption to the normal delivery schedule.
• Conduct thorough accident investigations for all driver related accidents.
• The individual will be responsible for maintaining proper daily payroll for their driver group.
• Responsible for respecting allocated budget and identifying improvement possibilities.
• Enforce policies and procedures for product delivery (truck cleanliness, temperature, and service)
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Employment Requirements
• Must have excellent proficiency in English language, both written and verbal. Knowledge of other languages will be a strong asset
• Must have completed two year college diploma
• 7 months to less than 1 year of Experience in office administration is required.
• Professional, reliable, and well organized
• Highly effective client services and organizational skills
• Team player and highly adaptive to work in culturally diverse environment
• Great command on Microsoft Office Applications, MS Excel, electronics scheduler and Adobe Professional for document processing. Working knowledge of cloud storage, invoice processing and document management system is an asset
