Job Description

1. Caregiving for 1 to 2 people with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder, DOB 12/5/09 and
DOB 10/18/11)
1.1 Caregiving for female DOB 10/18/11 diagnosed with ASD, aggression and
non-verbal
– Assist in implementing communication strategies prescribed by therapists
– Help facilitate activities planned or preferred by parents
– Engage in activities to encourage communication, play, creativity, and social
interaction
– Including but not limited to: feeding, bathing, changing diaper, playing and
traveling
1.2 Caregiving for male DOB 12/5/09 diagnosed with ASD and suicidal
tendencies
– Assist with daily routines and activities (getting ready for school, night time
routine, etc.)
– Supervise gaming, screening, and other online activities
– Nurture a relationship to encourage communication, trust, and confidence
2. Housekeeping and Home Management
– Regular cleaning, organization, and maintenance of home
– Living areas, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and home’s common areas
– Including but not limited to: cleaning, laundry, cooking, maintenance

Required languages: English

Education level: High School or equivalent

Required skills: Home management, Cooking, Cleaning, Caregiving, Direct experience with caring for people with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
