Job Description

Private Household:

Supervise and care for children in the employer’s home.

Oversee children’s activities such as play, meals and rest periods.

Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.

Tend to emotional well being of the children.
Drop and pick children to and from school and other appointments.

Plan, prepare and cook nutritious meals for the children.

May perform routine light house keeping and cleaning duties.

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.

Wage: 18.00 / 40 hours a week

Job location: Private home in 2767 North Road, Burnaby, B.C. V3J1R5

Term of Employment: Full time 40 hours a week; 2 years contract.

Language requirement: English

Education Required: High School Graduate or equivalent.

Work Experience Required: 6 months minimum childcare experience

Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live in basis.
