We are looking for enthusiastic & passionate individual to fill the position of a Retail Store Supervisor at our very busy location in Westport.

Required qualification:

• Completion of secondary education
• 7 Months to Less than 1 year of experience is required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to work in Day and weekends in fast paced environment.
• Experience in inventory control and dealing with vendors.
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
• Attention to detail in all areas of work.

Job responsibilities:
• Managing the customer service functions, including cash, cashiers, and merchandising.
• Order inventory of retail groceries and negotiating volume price breaks, placing, and expediting orders, verifying receipt
• Hire, train and supervise all employees.
• Protecting employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
• Ensuring availability of merchandise and services by maintaining inventories
• Check incoming food for quality and quantity of products, ensure timely put away.
• Maintain storage, security, and rotation of food as per HACCP regulations
• Analyzing daily sales and expense information and developing plans to maximize sales and net profits.
• Maintaining the stability and reputation of the store by complying standards
• Ensure cashier/merchandising staff comply with all guidelines.
• Ensure standards of housekeeping and image are maintained.
• Record shortages and reject damaged goods.
• Maintaining a clean and pleasant store environment
• Recruiting, hiring, and training employees, as well as developing the store staff
• Resolve customer complaints and provide exceptional customer service.

Compensation: Wage $22.10 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Work Hours: Minimum 35 hours per week, day shift and weekends may require.
