– Position: Dental Technologist

– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
– Wage: $25.78 per hour
– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

Job Duties:
– Design and build dental prostheses and devices.
– Prepare plasters and molds from dental impressions.
– Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases.
– Modify and repair dental appliances including crowns, bridges, dentures, and dental implants.
– Discuss with dentists or specialists on problematic dental cases.
– Check supply inventories and perform routine equipment maintenance.
– Document processes and maintain dental lab regulations and safety standards.

Job Requirements:
– Education: Completion of a college program in dental technology is required.
– Experience: No formal experience is required, but experience is an asset.
– Registration with a regulatory body is required for dental technologists.
