Job Description:
SAM’S CHAAT HOUSE & RESTAURANT LTD required 2 full time and permanent Cooks (Indian Curry Cook) for their restaurant. Applicants should have 2-3 years experience in Indian Style Curry Cooking .

Basic English Language is required and oral Punjabi or Hindi language is an asset.

Salary: $20/per hr

Job Duties:
• To prepare and cook full-course meals.
• To prepare and cook individual dishes and foods.
• Ensure the quality of food and determine size of food proportions.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.

Requirements:
Completion of secondary school may be an asset.
Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks OR
Completion of college or other program in cooking OR
Curry cook must have experience in making curry dishes like Shahi paneer, paneer tikka, dal makhani, butter chicken, karahi chicken, goat curry mix veg, etc.
