Job Description

Support child educators in carrying out programs to promote wellbeing and growth of children.
Engage children in scheduled activities such as storytelling, book readings, teaching songs and preparing crafts.
Prepare healthy snacks for children.
Arrange rooms for lunch and break periods.
Assist with proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
Assist in children’s hygiene.
Assist in changing baby’s diapers – if need be.
Maintain daycare equipment.
Assist with housekeeping and cooking duties.
Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.

Required languages: English

Education level: Completion of secondary school education

Required skills: Experience is an asset
