Brovender Family is looking for a Full-Time Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100-4)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $25.00/hour, with benefits.
We are looking for an experienced and reliable nanny to care for our children in our own home. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for our children while ensuring that all their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
Job Description:
• Supervise and care for children in the employer’s residence
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals for children
• Perform basic housekeeping duties such as but not limited to laundry, dishwashing
• Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• Take children to and from school and appointments.
Job Requirements:
• Previous experience as a nanny or childcare provider is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong understanding of child development and behaviour
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to work with a flexible schedule
• Patience and a positive attitude
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to the job
• Language in the workplace is English
