M&M Food Market Vernon is looking for a Full-Time Sales Clerk/Meal Advisor (NOC 64100-4)! This is a full-time, permanent position with minimum 30 hours per week, $16.75/hour plus commission.
Job Description:
• Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise sought for purchase
• Advise customers on merchandise, and provide advice concerning specialized products or services
• Estimate or quote prices
• Accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment
• Maintain sales records for inventory control
• Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
• Assemble visual retail displays to promote products, promotional events and seasonal change overs
• Ensure visual displays comply with brand guidelines and standards, including organization’s culture, image and target market
• Clean work area.
Job Requirements:
• Must be bondable
• Minimum completion of Grade 8
• Sales experience is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
