We are looking for First Cooks to work in our restaurant located in Cranbrook.

*Job Duties
• Prepare and make various types of sushi and bowls such as tempura, noodle, salad and teriyaki, hot donburi etc.
• Create and develop menu and receipes.
• Cook food according to recipes.
• Prepare and make sauces for dishes on the menu.
• follow proper plate presentation, garnish set up for all dishes and serve proper portion.
• Order, maintain and monitor inventory and records of food ingredients and supplies.
• Hire kitchen staff and helpers.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.

*Job Requirements
· Education: Completion of Secondary School
· Experience:
· Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a cook OR completion of a three-year apprenticeship program, college or other programs in cooking or food safety is required.
