Food Counter Attendant/Team Member

Wage: $17.40/hour. 40 hours per week.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: On-the-job training. Previous experience in food service is an asset.

Job Duties:
• Take customers’ orders
• Serve customers at counters
• Receive payment for food items purchased
• Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea specialties
• Use food prep equipment to prepare fast food items such as sandwiches, fries, salads, milkshakes and other beverages
• Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package take-out food
• Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances
• Stock refrigerators and keep records of the quantities of food used
