BellaVida Hair Salon is looking for two (2) Full-Time Stylists (NOC 63210-3)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 32-40 hours per week, $18.00/hour.
Job Description:
• Suggest hairstyle compatible with client’s physical features or determine style from client’s instructions and preferences
• Braid client’s hair: knotless braids, feeding cornrow braids, twists
• Do hair trims and treatments
• Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair
• Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
• Apply hair extensions: weave (sew-in extensions)
• May shampoo and rinse hair
• May perform receptionist duties and order supplies
• May train or supervise other hairstylists, hairstylist apprentices and helpers.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Stylist. Must have experience doing cornrows, braids (knotless braids, feeding braids)
• Having a hair styling certificate in cornrow/braids is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
