Position: Landscape Labourer (Permanent, Full-time)

Salary: CAD $20.00 per hour for 30-40 hrs per week

Company Description:
We at Canada West Equipment and Wholesale Supplies Ltd. are looking for a Landscape labourer on permanent basis to augment our staff at Edmonton.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Working outdoors, physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling.

Education:
 No formal education required.

Experience:
 Will train, experience is an asset.

Job Responsibilities:
1) Trim grass, rake, aerate, dethatch, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, and trees and perform other maintenance duties as directed by lead.
2) Operate and maintain snowblowers, power mowers, tractors, electric clippers, sod cutters, and other landscape maintenance equipment.
3) Lay sod, Spread top soil, plant shrubs, flowers, grass and trees and perform other duties to help with the erection of a landscape and related structures
4) Spraying and dusting trees, shrubs, lawns and gardens efficiently, as directed, to control insects and diseases.
5) Maintain grass, trees, shrubs and lawns by the road.
6) Perform other manual activities to clean and maintain landscaped surroundings.
