The Role:

As an Organizational Development Consultant at CLBC, you will create and guide learning strategy and implementation, design and develop corporate people programs, support team and organization effectiveness, and partner with the People Services Client Partners to provide guidance to stakeholders to address organizational performance issues. You will work collaboratively with People and Culture stakeholders, and client groups to support organizational resilience and performance.

Duties and accountabilities include:

Consulting with coaches and providing guidance to organizational leaders of all levels and staff to continuously enhance skills and capabilities by inspiring a respectful and feedback-rich environment that inspires engagement
Identifying and implementing evaluation tools, data sources, benchmarks, and performance targets for learning
Supports the development and implementation of corporate people programs such as leadership development and competency development
Developing a method for tracking people development data, implementing data analysis methodologies and management reporting
Working closely with managers and staff to steward and encourage a culture of self-directed learning and knowledge management/sharing
Designing and facilitating meetings/workshops to support client and corporate objectives
Providing facilitation services as required to support client requirements
Designing and delivering resources and tools that support building employee change management capability in the organization
Liaising with the Project Management Office regarding organizational people initiatives
This is a great role for a critical thinker who is highly self-motivated, self-directed and has the ability to influence and lead change.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or Adult Education, plus three years of related experience; or a relevant equivalent combination of education, work experience and training may be considered.
Experience implementing and evaluating training and organizational development strategies for adults
Demonstrated proficiency and experience in designing and implementing training curricula and involvement in developing comprehensive employee learning programs
Insights Discovery Accreditation and experience in virtual-based learning, and vendor and project management are preferred
Travel: Required to various CLBC offices throughout BC 1-2 times per month.

Location: This position can work from any Lower Mainland or Fraser Valley office, or the Victoria, Nanaimo, Kelowna, Kamloops, or Prince George office
