Description:
· Title: Kitchen Helper (NOC 65201)
· Location: 2136 McPhillips Street, Winnipeg, MB R2V 3C8
· Compensation: $15.30 /hour
· Hours: 30~40 hours/week

Requirements:
· Completion of secondary school is required.
· Experience is an asset. Will train.

Responsibilities:
· Prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
· Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
· Uphold cleanliness standards by sanitizing work tables, cupboards, and kitchen appliances, creating a hygienic environment for food preparation.
· Prepare vegetables, fruits, and other food items by cleaning, peeling, chopping, and washing as necessary, ensuring their freshness and quality.
· Adhere to instructions for washing, peeling, and cutting meat, fish, and poultry to guarantee proper handling and safety standards.
· Promote kitchen cleanliness by efficiently disposing of trash and managing kitchen garbage containers, keeping the area tidy and odor-free.
· Ensure a well-organized kitchen by arranging supplies in refrigerators, cupboards, and storage areas upon unpacking, for easy accessibility and inventory control.
· Assist kitchen staff by diligently sweeping and mopping floors, providing valuable support whenever necessary to maintain a smooth workflow.
