Job description:

– participate in the preparation and cooking variety food items according to guest orders

– be responsible for and accountable for the overall food cost, kitchen supplies, energy cost and kitchen utensils

– accept and prepare special orders

– maintain inventory on the daily basis, and make orders when necessary

– check quality of ingredients

– clean workstation and kitchen area after each shift

– set up and oversee buffets

Salary:

· $16-$18 per hour

Work hours:

· 30 per week

Required languages: English

Education level: high school diploma or equivalent, certification in cooking is an asset

Required skills: 1-2 years of experience in a Chinese kitchen, have some knowledge about Northern Chinese and Szechuan Cuisine, ability to communicate with team members and chef, ability to follow all sanitation procedures, excellent physical condition
