What is expected of you? As a cook
Prepare and cook complete meals.
Cook food items using different cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
Stock food items, equipment and other necessary supplies according to right storage procedure.
Ensure kitchen and work surface are clean at the end of each shift.
Maintain food storage logs and perform inventory checks.
Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers.
Prevent cross contamination.
Oversee delivery which may include lifting as much as 50lbs.
Respond to food safety issues and immediately solve root cause of the problem.
