Job Description

Nortera is currently looking for a highly motivated, energetic team member to join our Production Department as a Seasonal Full-time General Labourer, reporting to the Production Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the best possible product is being packaged and shipped out to various consumers. Your qualifications and assets will be put to use in order to ensure all machinery is running efficiently to meet target goals.

• Inspecting finished product as per consumer standards
• Load and remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on
moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas
• Good hand/eye coordination to ensure that any foreign material is removed before
further processing
• Loading boxes onto skids to be shipped out to customers
• Following SOP’s and adhering to GMP’s
• Working closely with others as a part of a strong production team
• Following work instructions given by the supervisor
• Continental, rotating schedule on 12-hour shifts 6:00am-6:00pm and 6:00pm-6:00am

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be capable of speaking, reading, and writing English at a Level 3 requirement
• You are able to work in a temperate and/or refrigerated environment
• You are able to work 12-hour shifts and follow a continental schedule
• Proven ability to work effectively as a team
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
• Ability to lift in excess of 23 kilograms/50 pounds is considered an asset
• Must be able to do inspection of vegetable products as well as be near vibrations for
long periods of time
