Working hours: 30 to 40 hours per Week (to be negotiated)
Wage: $29.00 to $32.00 hourly (to be negotiated); The overtime rate begins after 8 hours of work perday and 44 hours per week, with an overtime pay of 1.5x the regular pay rate

Job Duties:
1. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
2. Load and unload goods
3. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
4. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
5. Perform emergency roadside repairs
6. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
7. Receive and relay information to central dispatch
8. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Education:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience and specialization:
– 1 year to less than 2 years’ work experience
