Major job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Create and oversee project budgets and engage in cost management strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, quality, and cost to maintain profitability and competitiveness.
• Formulate policies and procedures required to perform engineering tasks and ensuring its compliance.
• Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Conduct technical interviews of potential candidates and provide required training to existing staff and new employees.
• Manage staff and assign tasks to engineering and technical personnel. Review work and projects for technical accuracy.
• Provide consultation and strategic solutions to potential clients.
• Propose suggestions and recommend improvements to senior management in the organization.
• Responsible for performing daily operations for the department including data analysis and subsequently preparing reports, explaining proposals to clients and presenting engineering reports and findings.
• Analyze potential business risks and develop risk management measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 3 – 5 years
