AAA Star Hardwood Flooring Ltd. in Calgary, Alberta has two open positions for Hardwood Floor Covering Installer.

Job details are as follows:

Location of employment: Calgary, AB

Number of position: 2

Job Type: Full time and Permanent

Starting date: as soon as possible

Salary : $26.00 per hour, 32 hours per week

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Tasks:
– Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
– Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
– Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
– Prepare and install hardwood floors
– Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
– Conduct moisture, ph, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations
– Estimate costs and materials
– Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
– Prepare floors for installations
– Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
