Position: Business Development Officer (NOC 41402)
Status: Permanent, Full-time (30 hours per week)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $60,000 per annum

Nova Food Services Ltd., a school lunch catering services company located at Unit 1, 11171 Horseshoe Way, Richmond, B.C. V7A 4S5, is seeking a Business Development Officer (NOC 41402) to join their team as soon as possible.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate current business model and workflow and provide advice on procedures and processes to improve efficiency to effectively tender for government contracts.
• Use dedicated software such as Flexibake for ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) to recommend improvements in processes.
• Assess business opportunities and develop strategies to attract investments.
• Conduct comparative research on customers, competitors and the marketplace to identify trends to optimize marketing strategies.
• Responsible for planning and managing the starting of new businesses.
• Develop marketing strategies, perform administrative tasks and to prepare business reports.
• Develop and implement policies and business plans.

Language of work: English

Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Business Administration is required.
• 5 or more years of experience in Business Administration.
• Experience in food catering businesses preferred.
• Working knowledge of Flexibake software & knowledge of HCCAP standards a bonus.
