Job Summary:
We operate and manage a busy suite of vacation rental properties in the East Kootenay Region of British Columbia. Our Housekeeping Attendants are responsible for the daily cleaning and timely turnover of our units.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain luxury vacation rental property units, ensuring that they meet the high standards of Fairmont Creek Property Management, focusing on the expedient turnover of rooms and bedding, vacuuming carpets, and ensuring overall cleanliness and readiness for guest accommodation.
• Sweep, mop, and wash floors in the property units, and ensure that windows, walls, and ceilings are cleaned regularly to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the units, keeping in line with our guest’s expectations.
• Execute thorough cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing of kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances in each property unit, ensuring a hygienic environment for guests, in accordance with the best industry practices.
• Make beds, change sheets, and ensure that each property unit is well-stocked with clean towels and toiletries, checking and replacing items as necessary, ensuring the comfort and convenience of guests during their stay.
• Manage and maintain the stock of linen closets, and other supplies’ areas, making sure they are well-organized, and inventory is tracked, ordered, and replenished as necessary.
• Carefully inspect the condition of furniture, fixtures, and appliances in the property units, reporting any damage, wear or tear for immediate repair or replacement to maintain the unit’s quality and guest satisfaction.
• Remove trash, dirty linen, and any unwanted items from the property units, ensuring that waste is disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner and in accordance with waste management guidelines.
• Ensure the property units and common areas such as hallways and common areas are kept clean, disinfected, and presentable at all times, attending promptly to any required cleaning or maintenance tasks.
• Proactively identify, report, and address any maintenance or repair needs within the property units or common areas to ensure continuous operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Carefully handle, report, and store any lost and found items, ensuring they are kept securely and documented correctly, facilitating their return to owners.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure that all assigned property units are serviced and ready for guest occupancy as per the scheduled timelines, maintaining a consistent level of service quality.
Wage/Salary: $17.40/hour
Benefits: Subsidized Staff Accommodation Available for Rent; Health Benefits provided after 90 days through a Health Spending Account; Paid Overtime Available during peak seasonal periods
Hours Per Week: Minimum of 30 hours per week; up to 40 regular hours per week during peak seasonal periods
Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent, Non-Seasonal
