Job Description

One (1) full-time vacancy at $21.91/hr for 30 hrs./wk. Work from 9 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday. Duties include: administering medications and assisting with regular exercise like walking. Light housekeeping, laundering linens and clothing, assisting with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, preparing and serving nutritious meals. Providing care and companionship. Urban area. Non-smoking and scent sensitive working environment.

Required languages: English

Education level: Secondary (High) School certificate or equivalent experience

Required skills: One (1) to less than two (2) years of experience. Must be punctual, possess a client focus, be dependable, efficient, and possess excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills. Flexibility, good judgement and showing initiative are desired.

Additional skills / Assets: Physical requirements of the position include bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and walking. Must be able to stand for extended periods, repetitive tasks, and the ability to handle weight of 45-60 kgs (100-132 lbs) are required. Immunization record, criminal record, and vulnerable sector checks all required.
