Job Description

Position: Auto Mechanic Helper
Terms of employment: Full time and permanent position
Location of work: Calgary, AB with occasional travel to other provinces
Wage: $25.00/hr
Job duties:
• Helping the lead mechanics with repairs and maintenance work;
• Support the lead mechanic in vehicle inspection and the diagnosis of performance issues;
• Conduct routine maintenance under the supervision of lead mechanic;
• Assist in repair and replacement of parts in cars such as belts, and tubes;
• Assist in repair defective automobile body parts and damage to the bodies of cars;
• Clean work areas and remove hazardous materials from the floor;
• Change oil, rotate tires, flush and replace fluids and change bulbs;
Education: High School diploma
Skills and Experience: Must be a team-work oriented individual with good communication skills. 7 months to 1 year experience is an asset but not a mandatory requirement.
