Tasks:

– Examine and decipher blueprints, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications in order to
establish the wiring layouts for either new setups or existing ones.
– Thread wires through conduits and apertures in walls and floors.
– Set up brackets and supports for electrical equipment.
– Mount, substitute, and fix lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution devices,
including switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.
– Splice, link, and attach wires to fixtures and elements to construct electrical circuits.
– Employ testing equipment to verify the continuity of circuits and ensure system compatibility
and safety post-installation, replacement, or repair.
– Identify and resolve issues in electrical and electronic systems, removing and replacing
defective components as necessary.
– Connect electrical power to audio and visual communication apparatus, signaling devices, and
heating and cooling systems.
– Implement preventive maintenance schedules and maintain comprehensive maintenance
records.
