Job Description

Job Duties:  
·         Prepare and cook food items served in the restaurant;
·         Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies;
·         Keep track of the inventory and maintain the inventory level;
·         Inspect kitchens and food service areas;
·         Plan, prepare and execute specialty items;
·         Supervise kitchen staff and helpers;
·         Manage kitchen operations;
·         Clean kitchen and work areas;
·         Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.

Qualifications:
·         One three-year cook working experience
·         Completion of high school or equivalent
