Blind Bay and Sorrento Village Grocer is looking for three (3) Full-Time Bakers (NOC 63202-3)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $18.00/hour.
Job Description:
• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
• Bake mixed dough and batters
• Prepare special orders
• Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
• Draw up production schedules
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas
• Operate machinery
• Organize and maintain inventory
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Baker
• Language in the workplace is English
