Job Description

One (1) full-time vacancy. Work Friday – Sunday, 10 hours daily for 30 hours/week. Duties include providing personal care and companionship to one elderly female with medical needs. The successful candidate will administer medications, launder clothing and household linens, light housekeeping and cleaning duties, assisting with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Prepares and serves nutritious meals. Assists with regular exercise like walking. Urban environment. Non-smoking and scent sensitive working environment.

Required languages: English

Education level: Secondary (high) school diploma

Required skills: Experience of 1 year to less than 2 years required. Physical requirements of the position include bending, crouching, kneeling. A combination of sitting, walking, and standing and the ability to handle heavier loads. Physically demanding with repetitive tasks.

Additional skills / Assets: Criminal and immunization records required. Personal suitability includes, punctuality, a client focus, dependability, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organizational skills and reliability. Ability to handle between 61 and 80 kgs (133-176 lbs)
