Position: Food Service Supervisor
Number of Positions: 2
Wage: $18.50 per hour
Work Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-time, Permanent)
Vacation: 10 days paid vacation or 4% of gross salary
Work Location: 895 Gibsons Way, Gibsons, BC, Canada V0N 1V8

Main Duties:
 Oversee and supervise daily operations of the restaurant
 Manage, schedule, assign, train and evaluate assigned restaurant staff
 Ensure that food and service quality meets quality control standards, enforcing sanitation and safety standards in service areas
 Resolve customers’ complaints or concerns
 Maintain records of inventory, repairs, sales, and wastage
 Prepare budgets and provide cost estimates
 Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:
 Minimum 2 years of experience in food preparation or customer service OR completion of a college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management
 Completion of Secondary School
 English is required
 Knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres
 Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure
