Propak Manufacturing Inc is looking for two (2) Full-Time Industrial Bag Sewers (NOC 94132-4)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $19.50 to $21.00/hour, with benefits.
Job Description:
• Operate single, double or multi-needle, flat bed felling, banding and other sewing machines, to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis
• Assemble heavy nylon and vinyl materials
• Operate machines to join sections of articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis
• Examine manufactured bags and operate sewing machines, sergers and other machines to repair bags during the manufacturing process
• Complete production reports
• May perform minor maintenance and repairs on sewing machine.
Job Requirements:
• Must know how to operate a sewing machine. Previous work experience is an asset.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing establishment is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
