Job Description

Wizcon Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a hard-working Construction labourer (75110) for their business operations in Lower Mainland, BC. We are looking for a long-term and fulltime employee.

Duties:

• Loads and unloading construction materials and moving them to work areas.
• Installs and removing concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, and barricades at construction sites.
• Performs minor carpentry work and assists the Carpenter with prefabricated items for job sites
• Picks orders, counts items and organizes loads
• Works with telehandlers to load and unload trucks and re-stack material in an organized or prescribed manner
• Fixes and prepares equipment including re-skinning panels, fixing cords, painting and grinding
• Inspects these product(s) throughout this process
• Ensures job-site cleanliness, housekeeping in the office and upholds cleanliness procedures
• Complies with all WorkSafe (WCB) procedures/safety practices including on site work practices and guidelines

Work conditions:

• Wage: $23/hour
• Full-time, permanent job offer
• Working location: Lower Mainland, BC (various project sites)
• 40 hours per week
• Overtimes are paid at 1,5 rate for hours exceeding 40
• 4% vacation pay

Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Experience is an asset
• Committed, responsible and punctual
• Must have personal protection equipment (PPE), fall protection gear and the appropriate ticket(s) and a reliable means of transportation to job sites
• Must be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions and to climb scaffolding, ladders and carry at least 50lbs (pounds) of weight
• Must be willing and able to work overtime as required
• Must be reliable and dependable and detail-oriented
