Job Description

The Urban Eatery is Family restaurant in Carstairs community. We are looking for a dynamic Food Service Supervisor and his job duties will be as follows:
1. Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
2. Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
3. Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from dieticians, patients in hospitals or other customers
4. Establish work schedules and procedures
5. Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
6. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
7. May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
8. May plan restaurant menus and determine related food and labour costs.

Required languages: English

Education level: Secondary School

Required skills: Should have At least 2-3years' experience as a Food Service Supervisor. Should be confident and have good customer service skills
