Responsibilities:
– Transport tools and materials between work areas
– Rectify faulty components
– Perform minor maintenance and repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
– Maintain inventory and place orders for parts
– Remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal product surfaces using metal cleaning equipment
– Sort materials, including metal sheets, parts, and scrap metal
– Load and unload vehicles
– Achieve a mirror finish by polishing metal products
– Interpret and follow work orders
– Make adjustments, repairs, or replacements of parts using hand tools and equipment
– Employ both hand and power tools
– Use hand tools to grind or chip away excess metal from metal products

Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time, 40 hours a week, $22.5 per hour

Experience:7 months to less than one year

Starting date: As soon as possible

Employment conditions: Noisy, Dusty

Pay: Salary $22.5 / hour
