About us:
Sher Donair is one of the best shawarma restaurants in Vancouver, serving Mediterranean food, such as platters and donair wraps, and our signature best seller lamb shank. We are looking for 1 experienced store manager to join us.
Main job duties:
• Manage assigned store requirements for new product rollouts/procedures.
• Maximize profit goals versus budget and prior year.
• Manage food, labor and paper costs and other controllable expenses.
• Develop and implement appropriate plans to resolve unfavorable trends and enhance profits.
• Schedule employees to ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently, in line with company standards.
• Recruit staff and oversee staff training processes.
• Ensure the highest standards of food quality and service are achieved.
• Responsible for order and monitor store inventory.
• Review and evaluate guest feedback and respond accordingly ensuring all compliments and complaints are responded to in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficiency in English as it would be work language.
• 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, is required.
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in fast-past environment.
• Enthusiastic, reliable and independent self-starter with strong organizational, decision making, problem solving and creative thinking skills
• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed and work as an individual contributor as well as part of a team
• Honest, high level of work ethic and integrity, assertive and strong desire to succeed
• Team player who supports others when needed
