FMP Foods Ltd operating as Montana BBQ & Grill is a Canadian restaurant chain known for smoked pork ribs, steaks, and burgers. The restaurant is conveniently located at 1899 Algonquin Ave North Bay ON P1B 4Y8.

We are currently hiring Line Cooks at our restaurant. This is a permanent and full-time position.

Position: Line Cooks

Duties and responsibilities
• Complete line checks to ensure that enough product is prepared and kept ready for service
• Ensure the quality of food is outstanding each and every time
• Plate food to specification to create a great dining experience
• Deliver Perfect Guest Experience by ensuring all standards are being executed and exceeded based on Montana’s established specifications
• Be a leader in demonstrating behaviours consistent with Recipe’s Principles
• Keep the work area, utensils and production equipment clean and sanitized
• Perform all opening, closing and cleaning tasks as instructed
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Program
• Follow safe food handling procedures at all times

Employment requirements
• Secondary school
• At least 1 year of previous experience as Line Cook
OR Alternate equivalent qualification may be considered
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Able to work on flexible schedule (i.e. days, nights and week-ends)
• English language

Wage
$16.55 per hour
