Ashley Foods Limited operating as Swiss Chalet is a restaurant well known for offering the best rotisserie and grilled chicken alongside our tasty menu of appetizers and entrees. The restaurant is conveniently located at 1011 Upper Middle Road Oakville ON L6H 4L3.

We are currently hiring a Restaurant Manager at our restaurant. This is a permanent and full-time position.

Position: Restaurant Manager

Duties and responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct the operations and team, monitor and evaluates all daily restaurant activities;
• Organizing work, planning schedules and monitoring employee performance;
• Hire staff and oversee their training;
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and the standards of quality control procedures;
• Ensure customer satisfaction, complaints and concerns;
• Generate revenue and reduce expenses to achieve optimal profits;
• Monitor inventory and revenues and revise methods and prices as needed;
• Ensures excellent customer services;
• Report to management as required.

Employment requirements
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management or business management;
• At least 1 year of experience in the commercial food service or hospitality industry, including supervisory experience;

OR Any other relevant equivalent qualification

• Possess a good foundation in management and customer service
• Language: English
• Available to work on flexible shifts, nights and week-ends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Organization skills and ability to multitask

Wage
$16.55 per hour
