We’re looking for a suitable candidate to join our team as a Kitchen Helper. Island Plate is a Calgary-based restaurant serving Asian, Island Fusion food in plate lunch style!

Title of the Position: Kitchen Helper

Term of employment: Permanent, Full-time
Working hours: 35 hours per week
Wage: $15.00 to 18.00 per hour; The overtime rate begins after 8 hours of work per day and 44 hours per week, with an overtime pay of 1.5x the regular pay rate.

Job Duties:
– Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables
– Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
– Place dishes in storage area
– Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
– Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
– Handle and store cleaning products
– Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
– Remove kitchen garbage and trash
– Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors

Education：
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:
– Experience an asset
