This Opportunity:

Subway is a renowned franchise restaurant and brand with locations across Canada. Subway is looking to hire 3 permanent full-time “Sandwich maker” who are passionate about the food and beverage industry, can engage and motivate the team in a fast-paced environment, and can successfully assist in our restaurant operations through supervision and upper management co-ordination. The ideal Candidate will:
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• Package take-out foods.
• Portion and wrap foods.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• Take customer’s orders.
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• Wash, peel and cut Vegetables and fruit.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies.
• Ensure food service and quality control.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Clean equipment and store utensils.
• Meet and maintain Subway Compliance requirements.
• Complete Subway-specific online courses and professional development courses.
• Complete duties as directed or required by supervisor or manager.

Skills Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school.
• Experience an asset.
