Job Requirements:
Languages: English

Education: Secondary School Education is usually required

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.) : Inspector Level Certification

Experience: Some Experience in operating production machinery or equipment may be required. Several month of on-the-job training are usually provided.

Specific Skills:
-Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings;
-Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat;
-Select appropriate paint or mix paints;
-Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications;
-Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes;
-Clean and maintain equipment;
-Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices
