Beauty Culture Operator

JOB DETAILS
Salary: $20.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work site environment: Noisy

Work setting: Beauty shop or aesthetic service

Specific Skills/Responsibilities:
• Custom designs
• Prepare custom made hair pieces
• Provide general information to customers on beauty products
• Advise on beauty products suited to customers’ colouring and skin type
• Provide hair weaving treatments for customers
• Standard design styles
• Apply make-up on customers
• Clean, trim and polish nails
• Nail art technics
• Provide gel and acrylic nail extensions
• Apply make-up on models
• Perform cashiering duties
• Provide product demonstrations
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Sell establishments products
• Manicures
• Pedicures
• Eyebrow threading
• Eyelash extensions

Area of work experience: Esthetician, Manicurist, Pedicurist

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Hand-eye co-ordination
