Job Description

This position is a full time temporary position for the 2023 season, beginning March 10 and ending December 4, 2024.
JOB DUTIES
– Provide daily care of multiple horses racing at Assiniboia Downs, 3975 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3K 2E9.
– Cleaning stalls, tacking horses, grooming, applying medications and bandaging.
– Mixing and preparing feed, detecting disease or ailments.
– Requires early mornings, working on multiple horses, physically demanding (lifting 100lbs).
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
– Must be able to provide a Criminal Record check.
– Must have minimum of 2 years of track race horse experience.
