Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Minimum two years experience in construction setting

Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Work setting: Various locations, Residential and commercial construction

Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Cellular phone

Personal suitability: Reliability, Team player

Architectural specialization: Residential and Commercial

Equipment and machinery experience: Bobcats, Chippers, Jackhammers, Air compressors, Nail guns, Drills, Augers, Chain saw, Forklift, Sledgehammer

Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional, Residential, Poured concrete

Tasks:

Load, unload and transport construction materials, Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades, Mix, pour and spread materials, Assist heavy equipment operators, Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs, Assist in demolishing buildings, Clean and pile salvaged materials, Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, Prepare floors for installations

Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel regularly, Willing to travel overnight

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding
