Job Description
We’re looking for qualified Cook to fill in the position at Elsa Lutong Bahay located in Brampton. We are in the business for almost 10 yrs in the GTA. We do catering, birthdays, wedding and outdoor events. A knowledge of Filipino cuisine is an advantage. Training will be provided according to the cooking aspects in order to obtain a perfect menu with quality and taste.

Education level: High School Graduate
Required skills: At least 2 yrs but not less than 3 yrs as Cook
Additional skills / Assets: Have full operational Knowledge of Filipino dishes, recipes/standards and portion size. Follow recipes and or product for preparing, seasoning and cooking. Always inspect the quality and freshness of ingredients prior to preparation. Ensure that food and safety standards are met. Prepare and cook specialty dishes and other sauces. Be proficient in the use of all kitchen equipment including fryers, ovens and grills. Oversee kitchen operations and staff scheduling and supervising kitchen helpers. Maintain inventory and record of food supplies and waste.
