We are a Level 2 Special Care facility looking for a Personal Support Worker to assist our residents with their daily routine and needs.

As part of our team, each member plays an important role in the well being of our residents and is asked to always maintain a positive and professional attitude to ensure a stress free and comfortable living environment. In addition, you will need to be friendly, patient, and compassionate when dealing with residents and treat all residents and colleagues with dignity and respect.

Salary: Starting at $16.55/hour
Hours: 30 to 37.5 hours per week
Term or contract: Full time

Responsibilities include:
• Answer call signals;
• Administer and log medication;
• Aid with dressing and grooming residents;
• Assist with meals and serve meal trays;
• Assist with feeding if required;
• Take blood pressure, temperature and pulse of residents;
• Monitor resident’s status and document residents file;
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained;
• Other related tasks as required by supervisor;

Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Bending, crouching, kneeling, fast-paced environment
