Job Description: Planet India Restaurant Ltd. required Two Permanent and Full Time(40 hours week) Cook (Indian Tandoori Cook) as soon as possible.
Duties included:
• Prepare and cook all tandoori menu items currently listed or may come to existence for example, Chicken Tandoori, Lamb Seekh kabab, Malai Chicken Tikka, etc. (For more information please visit our website at www.planetindiarestaurant.com)
• Slice and prepare raw food ingredients for future use
• Ensure the Quality of food before it get served to the guests.
• Train and may help staff in preparation, cooking and handling food.
• Take proper care of clay oven and upraise management if any repair or upgrade is needed.
• Supervise helper and another kitchen staff as required.
Salary: $22.50 per hour (Depending upon experience and work Knowledge).
Employment requirements:
Completion of secondary school may be an asset.
Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks OR
Completion of college or other program in cooking OR
Minimum 3 years’ experience in making Indian food dishes like tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, cheese tikka, chicken shisk kabab, tandoori prantha, tandoori naan, rashmi kabab, fish tikka paneer tikka etc.
