A family in Coquitlam, BC V3B 0A7, is seeking a Home Support Worker to provide care and assistance to an elderly individual in a private residence.

Position: Home Support Worker
Vacancy: 1
Wage: CAD$ 24.50 per hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (Part time also available)
Working hours: 30~40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:
• Provide care and companionship for an elderly individual in a private residence;
• Assist with personal care, including personal hygiene, dressing, and light exercise;
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed;
• Perform routine housekeeping duties, including laundry and washing dishes, and maintain a clean and safe living environment;
• Provide medication reminders in accordance with instructions from healthcare professionals.

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience in elderly care or completion of a training program in care of the elderly, care of persons with disabilities, or a related field is required.
• Criminal record clearance is required.
• Language of work: English.
