Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment: Oilseed (except soybean) farming, Wheat farming, Dusty, Hot, Noisy, Outdoors, Grain, oil and forage crop
Area of specialization: Agricultural crop service
Work setting: Rural area
Supervision: 1 to 2 people

Job Duties
• Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
• Organize tasks to accomplish the work
• Hire and train staff
• Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
• Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures; Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, Fertilizer applicator, Harvesters, Seed drill, Sprayer or duster, Tractor
• Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
• Maintain quality control and production records; Maintain work records and logs
• Perform general farm duties
