Job Description

J.B. Construction Inc., located at 201040 HWY 512, Lethbridge County, AB, is seeking two Construction Labourers. Rural Area. English-speaking workplace. Seasonal (April to November 2027)

Wage: $25.00/hour for 40 hours per week
Education: Basic
Experience: 7 months to 1 year

Duties:
-Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas.
-Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, and barricades required at construction sites.
-Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete.
-Assist tradespersons – cement finishers in construction activities.
-Remove rubble from construction sites.
-remove hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete.
-imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
-installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete.
-installing hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete.
-waterproofing, damp-proofing, and restoring concrete surfaces.
-operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed.
-other duties at construction sites as directed.

Must be punctual, motivated, and reliable. Must be physically fit and be able to lift 50 pounds. Must have the ability to operate various power tools. Must have a class driver’s license.
